Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us. ~ David Richo
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an extensive background working with families and couples, I want to face those wounds with you and help you find the best part of yourself. And whether those wounds are mental health issues, past traumas, relationship or family issues and whether they impact you individually, as a couple, or as a family, a safe, therapeutic setting can help you heal those wounds and be the best you can possibly be, for yourself and for others.
We begin where you need to begin. With over twenty-five years as a therapist (and former family law attorney), I have an eclectic range of skills that allow us to pick the way that helps you best. My goal is to provide you with a safe, trusting environment to address and explore your concerns and stresses.
Know that the first question I will ask each week is “what happened that was good?” Helping people find the silver linings helps people also do the difficult work that is required when we are facing tough issues together. When we see those little improvements, it helps us to continue to move forward.
